We are seeking a skilled Marine & Powersports Technician to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of marine and powersports equipment, including outboard engines, boats, ATVs, UTVs, and snowmobiles.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with small engines, electrical systems, and mechanical troubleshooting.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain outboard motors, boats, ATVs, UTVs, and snowmobiles
  • Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tune-ups, fuel system cleaning, and belt replacements
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, fuel, and ignition systems
  • Install and repair marine and powersports accessories, including winches, plows, lighting, and audio systems
  • Conduct performance testing and ensure all work meets manufacturer specifications
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
  • Communicate with service advisors and customers regarding diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance recommendations
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience as a marine or powersports technician (certifications preferred)
  • Knowledge of outboard engines, powersports vehicles, and small engine systems
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret service manuals and schematics
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software for marine and powersports equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver’s license; ability to work in various weather conditions
  • Manufacturer certifications (Yamaha, Mercury, Honda, Polaris, BRP, etc.) are a plus
