Opening for a full-time Service Technician.
Level 3 to Red Seal.
The tech must be familiar with HVAC and refrigeration systems and able to perform onsite service troubleshooting commercial and industrial equipment. This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week. Will be in the on-call rotation, with possibility of overtime.
Pay: CA$22.51 - CA$48.42 per hour, to be negotiated.

Licences/Certification/Requirements:
- Gas license preferred
- Driver's licence
- Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Trade certification
- Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Red Seal Certificate preferred
- Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) certificate
- Criminal record check
- Good customer service skills and customer communication
- Basic trade tools required
- Strong electrical circuit troubleshooting
Duties
- Troubleshoot heating systems
- Troubleshoot ventilation, air handling, refrigeration and air conditioning systems
- Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components
- Coach and instruct apprentices
- Measure, cut and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment
- Start up system and test for leaks using testing devices
- Perform maintenance such as, recharging system with refrigerant, checking and testing regulators or calibrating system
- Interpret gas codes
- Handle, recover and store refrigerants
- Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation or heat pump systems
