Manual/CNC Machinist
We are looking to add a full-time Manual/CNC Machinist to our team who encourages a positive attitude, appreciates a fast-paced environment, and who wants to learn and grow us.
Responsibilities:
- Perform the duties specified by procedures, blueprints, work orders and/or through oral instructions.
- Implement various techniques on Horizontal Lathes, Radial Arm Drills, Milling Machines, and operations of CNC Lathes and Mills
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Journeyperson Machinist certificate
- Recent experience operating Horizontal Lathes, CNC, Radial Arm Drills, and Milling Machines
- Showing knowledge in CNC Vertical and Horizontal Mills and CNC Horizontal Lathes, is an asset
- Able to understand specifications and related technical documentations with accuracy, as well as precise measuring skills
- Ability to lift and handle material up to and including 50lbs
- Demonstrated ability to work in a safe manner in all aspects of the organization’s policies and procedures
- Able to work in a team environment without supervision
