Our company offers full service plumbing and gas fitting services, from full home and commercial design-builds to standard spec houses. Since 2012, we have focused on plumbing, gas fitting, and hydronic systems for upscale residential homes – new and retrofit. We perform a variety of services, from fixture consultation to complete design and install of complex systems.
We are continuing to grow our team and are now looking for an Estimator/Purchaser to join our team. We look forward to hearing from you!
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Estimating: Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for plumbing projects, including comprehensive assessments of material and labour costs.
- Material Take-offs: Conduct detailed material take-offs to ensure proper procurement of supplies required for each project.
- Purchasing: Manage sourcing and procurement of plumbing materials and equipment, negotiating prices and ensuring quality and timely delivery from suppliers.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize tools such as QuickBooks Online (QBO), Excel, and Contractor Foreman for effective project documentation, tracking, and reporting.
- Scheduling: Develop and manage project schedules, coordinating with the team to maintain timelines and resource allocation.
- Site Visits: Perform site visits to assess project progress, verify installation requirements, and liaise with clients and contractors.
- Project Management (Asset): Assist in overseeing project timelines and deliverables, ensuring company and client standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of plumbing experience
- Red Seal Journeyman certification in plumbing.
- Strong communicator (client facing as well as with the team. Ability to communicate in a timely and clear fashion)
- Experience in estimating and purchasing within the plumbing sector.
- Expertise in material take-offs and cost estimation processes.
- Strong understanding of residential, commercial, and hydronic heating systems.
- Proficient with computers and relevant software (QBO, Excel, Contractor Foreman).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

- Competitive salary of $60,000 to $90,000
