Hourly Wage: $23.00 per hour

Hours: 9:00 am – 4:00pm

Position: Full-time (permanent after full-filling the agencies obligated hours)

Position Overview:
We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our growing team.  We are a leading importer of ethnic foods. As part of our marketing department, you’ll support the execution of innovative campaigns, manage digital content, and contribute to driving brand awareness and customer engagement across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing, e-commerce, and email marketing, along with a passion for ethnic cuisine and cultural diversity.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Development & Execution: Help create and manage marketing campaigns to promote our diverse product offerings. Execute across email, social media, paid ads, and web content.
  • Email Marketing (Mailchimp): Design, manage, and optimize email campaigns using Mailchimp to engage customers, promote sales, and inform about new product offerings.
  • E-commerce Management: Support our website developing team with e-commerce initiatives, updating product listings, managing inventory online, and optimizing the customer journey on our website. Work with the team to create promotional content that drives online sales.
  • Content Creation & Localization: Develop culturally relevant and creative content for blogs, social media, and product descriptions to showcase our ethnic food products.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Use advanced Excel skills to track and report on campaign performance, website analytics, and sales data to help inform future strategies.
  • Social Media Management: Manage social media platforms, create engaging posts, interact with followers, and run social media ad campaigns to drive traffic and increase brand visibility.
  • Project Management: Coordinate and execute marketing initiatives, ensuring all deadlines are met and projects are completed on time, while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Creative Design Support: Assist in creating visually compelling marketing materials, including banners, social media posts, and email templates. Experience with design tools is a plus.
  • Market Research & Trend Analysis: Stay updated on the latest food trends and customer preferences, and leverage this knowledge to develop targeted marketing strategies.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all marketing communications reflect the company’s brand voice and accurately represent our ethnic food products.
  • Brand engagement & reporting:  Tracking, measuring, and analyzing the performance of your brand’s engagement efforts

 

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in food marketing, e-commerce, or international products.
  • Advanced Excel Skills for tracking, analyzing, and reporting on data such as sales figures, campaign performance, and web analytics.
  • Proficiency in Mailchimp or similar email marketing platforms, with a proven track record of managing email campaigns from concept to execution.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce) and a strong understanding of online product listings, customer engagement, and online sales strategies.
  • Creative and innovative thinker with the ability to develop fresh, engaging content that speaks to a diverse audience.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) and ability to run ads, grow engagement, and increase followers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content for different audiences.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent project management skills, able to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Sage 300 experience is a plus (but not a requirement) for handling Internal pricing, inventory, or order management.
  • Familiarity with SEOGoogle AdsFacebook Ads, and analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.) is a plus.
