Location: Brampton

Pay Rate: Starting at $35/hour and up (based on experience)

 

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Press Room Supervisor to oversee daily press room operations. This role is responsible for ensuring efficiency, quality, safety, and workflow within the press room. The successful candidate will bring strong technical knowledge of punch press setup and progressive dies but will not be required to operate machinery.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily press room activities
  • Ensure press schedules, setups, and production flow run efficiently
  • Oversee punch press setups and progressive die changeovers
  • Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to press operators
  • Monitor quality standards and address issues related to tooling or setup
  • Enforce safety policies and maintain a safe working environment
  • Coordinate with production, tooling, and maintenance teams
  • Assist with training and mentoring press room staff
  • Ensure housekeeping and organization standards are maintained

 

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in press room operations
  • Strong knowledge of punch press setups and progressive dies
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and efficiency
  • Safety-conscious and reliable

 

 

Schedule: Monday to Friday 6:45am-4:15pm
