The Opportunity:

 

We are seeking a highly skilled, compassionate, and self-motivated Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our client’s team in a thriving practice in Ontario. This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your expertise in a supportive and professional environment, focusing on patient education and achieving optimal oral health outcomes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive dental hygiene assessments, including charting, periodontal probing, and vital signs monitoring.
  • Develop and implement individualized dental hygiene care plans.
  • Perform scaling and root planing, polishing, fluoride application, and other preventative and therapeutic procedures.
  • Provide thorough patient education on oral hygiene techniques, preventative care, and nutritional counseling.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Collaborate effectively with the dentist and the entire dental team to ensure coordinated and high-quality patient care.
  • Adhere to all provincial and federal regulations, including infection control protocols and privacy legislation.

Qualifications:

  • A diploma or degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution.
  • Must be currently registered and in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario (CDHO).
  • Up-to-date certification in CPR/BLS.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with dental software 
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development.
