Drivers - Class 3 with Air Brake Endorsement

Our company is looking for a full-time Class 3 Drivers. These positions are Monday to Friday with some overtime as required. If you enjoy driving and working outdoors this position is for you.

The successful candidate will receive full company-paid benefits after 90 days.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver building materials to customers’ job sites and pick up from vendors as instructed by the shipping department
• Pick up any excess building materials from job sites as instructed, and complete the proper paperwork
• Ensure orders are loaded, unloaded and accurately filled, counted and secured following all safe work requirements
• Receive and relay information to the shipping department in a timely manner
• Be professional, courteous, and punctual with a focus on customer service
• Other duties as required

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Calid Class 3 driver's license with air brake endorsement
• Able to operate a manual/standard transmission
• Able to obtain a clean driver’s abstract upon successful hire
• Ability to perform physical labour, including lifting, carrying over 50 lbs, and bending repeatedly on a daily basis
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Forklift licence an asset
• Ability to perform at a high level in a fast paced, demanding working environment
• Reliable vehicle is required, as this is a non-bus route

Working Conditions:

• Exposure to dust and extreme changes in temperature and weather when working outdoors year-round.
• Safety boots and safety equipment are required;
• Work in a busy, high-volume environment.
